Back in with 2 feet...Here we go

We've had two awesome male labbies for the last 12+ years; Taz a 90lb golden and Auggie our 78lb black lab.

We had to put our dear Taz down in March when he was 12.5 & our Auggie will be 12 this summer. Crushed our hearts as many of you know and have gone through.

Auggie is clearly missing his bros, And even though he's 12, we believe his remaining life will be richer with a brother again. He's moving well for his age too (knocks wood)

So with that, we're bringing Wilbur home this week! He's a 10 week old Yellow English from our same breeder. Should be a nice, blocky 90'ish adult male one day.

We'll post pix soon - battening down the hatches @ home, getting the crates ready etc.

    Here we go again...

Thanks, 3 mos isn't long enough to get "over it" for sure.

These guys had a great life together and that sure provides some solace.

New pup should keep us busy and help heal a little too.

Sorry you lo Taz. We lost one of ours suddenly in February and it's always such a shock. I hope Wilbur provides some needed companionship and joy in your household! Cool that he's from a breeder you know.

“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”
